I spent 37 years as a social studies middle school teacher. We have lived in NH for over 40 years, mostly in the small town of Gilmanton. I worked with great people and students. My wife Betty was a nurse-practioneer. Since retirement 8 years ago we have traveled some, spent time in Florida during some of the winter, and visited as much as we could with our two grandsons. I've volunteered quite a bit as a hiking trail maintaineer and builder in our White Mts, and helped establish a new library in our town.
Our son Alec is a professor at Illinois State University and Kate our daughter counsels kids with autism. She has the two boys and lives in Maryland.
