After OWU graduation I taught German & French at a high school near the Pittsburgh Airport until June of 1980. Moved to California after that and have been here ever since. 1st husband & I divorced in 1981; married Carl in 1983 and have had 37 years of (relative) harmony and shared interests! After leaving teaching, I did stints of work at CPA firms as an admin asst and then an office manager. Thereafter, entered the non-profit sector and worked as the administrator of the Los Angeles County Bar Foundation (charitable arm of the local bar association) from 1987-2009. Being a tennis nut, I am fortunate to have year round good weather to participate in my favorite sport. Still playing doubles a few times per week, but the knees are grinding down so a left knee replacement is coming up within the next few months. To cut down a bit on the wear and tear, I've taken up pickleball which is less ground to cover and highly addictive! My other hobbies are: playing piano & Celtic harp; reading; hiking; cross-country skiing; dining out and attending plays and concerts (before Covid, of course); buying & selling on EBay; playing computer games; and cheering for the Lakers. This web site is a fantastic idea and I look forward to reading what others have been up to these past 50 years!
