After graduation, I joined Ohio Bell where I worked for 30 years, before taking early retirement. I began as a Computer Programmer, but spent most of my years in various middle management positions in Human Resources, as well as several years managing Network Services line and staff organizations. During my tenure, Ohio Bell became part of the Ameritech regional system as a result of the breakup of the Bell System and then later merged with SBC (Southwest Bell Communications). While working, I completed my EMBA at Weatherhead School Management, as well as the Professional Fellows program. Since retiring I have been very involved in Rotary, an international service organization, and with bird watching and bird-related citizen science projects.
